The AFFI annual pension seminar will be held on Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday October 24th at the DoubleTree by Hilton located at 3003 Corporate West Drive in Lisle, IL 60532.

This two day event will allow pension fund trustees the opportunity to obtain all 8 continuing education hours required by state statute and each trustee will receive a certiticate

Tentative topics incide:

• Current legislation impacting Article 4
• How Social Security affects Firefighters* Pension
• An Update from IFPIF on fund performance
• 457 Plans
  Reciprocity
• Pension and disability cases of interest
• General Trustee duties, responsibilities, and resources

You may attend either in person or virtually. In person attendees will sign in from 9:00-10:00 on Monday.

Lunch will be served around noon and there will be a reception on Monday evening. Breaktast and lunch will be served on Tuesday. Virtual attendees can view the webinar live beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday and are also able to log in and view the recorded seminar at later dates
